House of the Right concentrates supporters in the Center
The demonstration takes place at Rua Balduíno Taques, number 983, in the vicinity of the Municipal Cemetery São José. The property known as Casa da Direita was reopened by the elected councilman and state deputy Ricardo Zampieri (PL), coordinator of the Flávio Bolsonaro campaign in Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais.
The space has been used as a meeting point and articulation of supporters of the candidate. The concentration during the count was also recorded by the Portal aRede, which confirmed the mobilization at the address on Sunday night. On Saturday (24), supporters had already held a political mobilization in the city, called Carreta da Vitória, with horns, flags and vehicles identified with the candidacy of Flávio Bolsonaro.
Celebration takes place before the presidential definition
Despite the festive atmosphere among those present, the presidential election was still indefinite in the 8:30 p.m. bulletin on Sunday. According to the numbers presented by the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), with 54.4% of the total sections, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) appeared with 50.31% of the valid votes, while Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) registered 49.69%.
The difference was about 419,000 votes, keeping the dispute quite tight. The percentages represent only a partial portrait of the count and may change as new electoral sections are counted. The president of TSE, Minister Kassio Nunes Marques, had indicated the expectation of defining the result between 20h30 and 21h, although without establishing a mandatory time for the completion of the totalization.
