Suspect confesses theft of watches in Ponta Grossa and is taken to the police station

One suspected of involvement in a theft of watches in Ponta Grossa was located by equipe GAT KILO in the central region of the city, after two products were taken from a commercial establishment in the Uvaranas neighborhood. According to the information passed on to the team, the man admitted the authorship of the theft during the approach and was referred to the 13th Police Subdivision (13th SDP).
The incident began after the Operations Center received information about the theft, accompanied by images that recorded the action in the establishment. According to the report, two clocks were subtracted, mobilizing the agents for the identification and location of the suspect.
With the characteristics of the man and the images of what happened, the team started diligences in different points of the city. During the search, the agents located, in the central region of Ponta Grossa, an individual with similar characteristics to those presented in the initial information.
Suspect admitted to theft during approach
After the approach, the officers conducted a personal search, but did not find any of the watches with the suspect.
According to the equipe GAT KILO report, during the conversation with the agents, the man confessed to having committed the theft. Asked about the fate of the products, he said he had returned one of the watches to a person who had previously approached him.
To clarify the situation, the team contacted a salesperson from the commercial establishment where the case took place.
The official confirmed that one of the watches had been recovered with the help of other merchants in the region. However, he said that the second product had not been located and that the suspect had left the establishment after the occurrence.
The case was referred to the Civil Police
In view of the information gathered, the images of the establishment and the demonstration of the victim on the adoption of legal measures, the involved were referred to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa.
At the police station, the case was presented for the necessary clarifications and for the evaluation of the appropriate measures by the police authority.
