A 16-year-old teenager, suspected of involvement in drug trafficking in the central region of Ponta Grossa, was seized by the Civil Police of Paraná (PCPR) on the morning of Wednesday (14).
The action was carried out by police officers of the Adolescent Police Station of Ponta Grossa, who complied with a judicial arrest warrant issued by the Judiciary.
According to the Civil Police, the teenager was located during diligences carried out by a police team in the Olarias neighborhood.
The officers complied with the court order, related to the suspected involvement of the young man with the trafficking of narcotics in the central region of the municipality.
The corporation did not provide details about the investigation, the circumstances of the alleged involvement with the trafficking or the existence of other persons under investigation.
After fulfilling the warrant, the adolescent was referred to the Center for Socioeducation (CENSE), where he remains at the disposal of the Justice.
The Civil Police did not disclose any other information about the judicial procedure.
As a teenager, his identity is preserved, according to the norms provided for in the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA).
