The Teen Who Attacked a Man with Multiple Knife Stabs Is Arrested in Ponta Grossa

The Civil Police of Ponta Grossa, through the Homicide Sector, carried out on Monday (21), a warrant of preventive arrest and search and apprehension in favor of the 23-year-old author, of an attempted murder committed against the victim, a 27-year-old man, which occurred in the Neves neighborhood.
On June 22, 2026, around 00:40, the victim was struck by several knife strokes in the chest and abdomen region after a discussion started during a festive event. The victim was rescued and survived the injuries.
In the following days, the Police Team carried out in-depth investigations, which gathered evidence showing that the suspect, in addition to the act committed, began to utter repeated death threats against the victim and his family through messages.
According to the victim, the author had even sent a photograph of a firearm in order to intimidate her.
Before the evidence gathered, he was represented to the Judiciary by the preventive arrest and search and seizure at the address of the investigated, which were referred.
On Monday (21st), the court orders were duly complied with by the police teams. When questioned, the suspect confirmed that he had stabbed the victim, but claimed to have acted in self-defense.
The suspect of authorship was referred to the prison Hildebrando de Souza, where he will remain at the disposal of justice, and will be indicted for the practice of the crime of Attempted Qualified Homicide, for futile reason.
