In an interview with BnT News on Thursday (22), the mayor of Tibagi, Rildo Leonardi, detailed the investments in asphalt, housing, rural infrastructure and also facing El Niño.

At the beginning, the mayor detailed the announced value for paving and asphalt recapture investments. According to him, initially it was R$ 49 million, but will exceed R$ 56 million, which a second lot has already been tendered and with service order.

Of the total already guaranteed is R$ 42,684,000.00 that will be destined for the asphalt recapture, divided into four lots. The works will contemplate streets of the headquarters of Tibagi and the district of Alto do Amparo. The execution will be in charge of the company Vigent Construções, winner of the tender. Other R$ 6,341,000.00 will be applied in the complete paving of dirt streets. The services will include the headquarters of the municipality, Alto do Amparo, Caetano Mendes and Faxinal dos Mendes. In this program, the company Kapa Infrastructure will be responsible.

“It’s not just an asphalt that’s coming in front of people, but it’s that end of dust, of that clay, it’s the bad polyhedral footwear, that doesn’t pass a wheelchair, a mother pushing a baby stroller. It will bring quality of life,” he said.

The appeal is ultimately lost, from the State Government. The mayor thanked governador Ratinho Junior and the state and federal deputies. “It’s been over a year and a half working to release, bid and order service. It was worth it."

The new industrial district and the new industrial district

For the mayor, the paving will also help in the sale of the crop and in the attraction of companies. The recape will take the connection between the BR-376 and the 153, passing through Alto do Amparo to São Bento, with more than 6 to 7 km in that region alone.

"When you improve the road network, you give opportunity to companies that observe Tibagi. We have specialized labor, many young people who go to Telêmaco Borba, Castro, Ponta Grossa do university and technical course".

He said that the management is studying the creation of a new industrial district, which could be on the margins of BR-153 or BR-376, and that the decision will be discussed with the population and leaders.

120 popular houses

In the area of housing, Tibagi will have 120 new popular villas, after more than 13 years without a large housing project.

El Niño and rural roads

The mayor also spoke of the meeting with the councilors to discuss the impacts of the El Niño. Tibagi is almost 3,000 km2, being the second largest in extension of the Paraná, with more than 1,600 km of rural roads mapped.

With heavy rains, the team worked even over the weekend to serve isolated communities, ensure passage of ambulances, school transport and drainage of wheat, beans, soybeans and corn.

According to Rildo, the municipality has a cash resource, but needed budget allocation. Therefore, he asked the councilors to return the endowment to put into operation a two-stage industrial crusher tendered - the current municipal quarry crusher produces only 7 to 8 loads per day.

The hydroelectric plant also donated stones that will be crushed. The city is bidding on trucks to bring the material closer to Caetano Mendes and São Bento, from where the municipal fleet will take to rural roads.
