Tourism distributes 203 water bottles along the streets of Ponta Grossa

In the 203 years of Ponta Grossa, the Municipal Secretariat of Tourism held a commemorative action aimed at the workers of the city. The initiative distributed 203 bottles of water and integrates the activities of Gincana Princesa em Festa, promoted within the celebrations for the anniversary of the municipality.

The quantity of bottles distributed was chosen precisely in reference to the age of Ponta Grossa, who turns 203 years old. According to the Ministry of Tourism, the goal was to turn the number of the anniversary into a symbolic demonstration of care and recognition to the people who work daily and contribute to the development of the city.

The initiative was inspired by the Princess in Party Gincana, organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture. This year, the theme of the program is “The Best of Our Land is Our People” and encourages the realization of activities that transform the celebrations of the anniversary of the municipality into actions of positive impact for the community.

Action honors Ponta Grossa workers

During the activity, workers received the water bottles as a symbolic form of thanks for the work carried out daily in the municipality.

According to the Municipal Secretary of Tourism, Paulo Stachowiak, the proposal was to carry out a simple action, but that would represent recognition to the people who are part of the construction of the history and development of Ponta Grossa.

“It’s 203 years of a city built by its people. Our idea was to turn this number into a simple gesture, but full of meaning: 203 small bottles of water to remember that those who work and move Ponta Grossa also deserve to be cared for and valued”, stressed the secretary.

Gincana integrates celebrations of the 203 years

The action of the Ministry of Tourism is part of the set of initiatives related to the celebrations of the 203 years of Ponta Grossa. The proposal of Gincana Princesa em Festa is to stimulate different forms of participation of the community and municipal bodies during the anniversary of the city.

With the motto aimed at the valuation of people, the programming seeks to highlight who lives, works and helps daily in the development of the municipality.

The distribution of the 203 bottles, therefore, used the very anniversary of Ponta Grossa as a reference to transform the celebration into a symbolic action aimed at the workers of the city.
