Tree hits pole and threatens to fall near Ponta Grossa Bus Station
Tree hit a pole near Ponta Grossa Bus Station and worries Senac students. Municipality and Copel were contacted.

A tree hit a pole near the Ponta Grossa Bus Station and is causing concern among people circulating the area, especially students from Senac College. According to information received by the Portal BnT Online, the pole is inclined and there is a fear that the structure could fall.
The situation was recorded in an area of intense movement, close to the bus station and educational institutions. According to the report sent to the report, the tree fell on the pole, which began to show signs of instability.
Post hit worries students
The main concern is related to the flow of students and pedestrians through the site. Students attending Senac College pass through the region daily and, given the condition of the pole, there is fear of a possible accident.
In addition to the risk involving the structure, the presence of wires next to the tree increases the concern of those who use the road.
Residents and people attending the region say that the situation had already been communicated to the responsible bodies, but the problem remained unsolved until Wednesday afternoon (14).
Risk near Bus Station of Ponta Grossa
Because it is a busy area of Ponta Grossa, the situation also concerns passengers, drivers and workers who circulate in the vicinity of the bus station.
The fear is that the weight of the tree causes the complete fall of the pole and generates risks for those who are passing by the site at the moment.
Prefecture and Copel are sought
The Portal BnT Online approached the Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa and Copel to request information on the attendance of the occurrence, possible on-site survey and forecast for removal of the tree and stabilization of the pole.
Copel reported that it was on an urgent trip to the incident. "Copel informs that it is urgently displacing, on the afternoon of Wednesday (14), a team to attend to an occurrence of tree touching cables in the vicinity of the Ponta Grossa Bus Station and the Senac College. Copel advises the population to keep distance from fallen wires, damaged poles and any equipment of the electrical network that presents faults. The company warns that the population does not approach, do not touch the wires or try to remove objects from the network. Risk situations should be immediately communicated to Copel through the official channels of service.”
Until the closure of this matter, there was no return from the city hall.
The space remains open for demonstration, and the matter may be updated if new information is forwarded.
