Two men are killed by gunshots and knife attacks in Reserva
One of the victims died at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital; Civil Police will investigate the circumstances of the deaths.
A double homicide in Reserva, a municipality in the Campos Gerais do Paraná region, was registered early on Sunday (25). Two men were killed after an incident involving gun and blank gun injuries. The military police were activated around 1:31 a.m., and the circumstances of the deaths will be investigated by the Civil Police.
According to information from the 26th Military Police Battalion (26th BPM), the team initially received a call about a man who was reportedly injured on public roads. Upon arriving at the indicated address, the police found two people who had fallen, both with injuries.
One of the victims had a head injury, apparently caused by a gunshot. A team of the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU) was triggered, but the man did not resist and the death was still at the scene.
The second man had injuries caused by a white weapon. He received the first care and was referred to the Municipal Reserve Hospital. Despite the rescue, the victim also died after entering the health unit.
Disagreement May Have Preceded Double Murder on Reserve
According to preliminary reports from residents handed over to the Military Police, the incident began after a disagreement involving several people.
Initial reports indicate that one of the men was shot by a white weapon and subsequently by a firearm. According to reports, the person responsible for the shooting had left the scene after the incident.
However, the dynamics of the facts have not yet been officially clarified. The Civil Police shall ascertain the circumstances of the deaths, the possible participation of other persons and the motive of the crime.
So far, the police information available does not clarify the identity of the victims or confirm who would have carried out the shooting.
Scientific Police and IML were triggered
After finding the victims, the military police carried out the isolation of the area to preserve possible traces related to the double homicide in the Reserve.
The Scientific Police and the Medical-Legal Institute (IML) have been set up for the necessary procedures. The expert work may contribute to clarify how the facts happened.
The investigation will be under the responsibility of the Civil Police, which must gather testimonies and other elements to identify those involved and determine the circumstances of the two deaths.
The case remains under investigation. New information will clarify the sequence of events and the possible relationship between the injuries found in the victims.
