UBS São José in Tibagi receives new equipment to strengthen services
The new equipment expands the resources available at UBS São José and contributes to different procedures and assessments carried out by the team
The Basic Health Unit (UBS) São José, in Tibagi, received on Thursday (24), new equipment through the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) of the Ministry of Health. The materials are integrated into the structure of the unit and will offer more support to professionals during the care provided to the population.
The delivery was attended by the mayor Rildo Leonardi and the municipal secretary of Health, Sérgio Aldo da Silva, in addition to the doctor and the nurse who work in the unit. The professionals knew the new equipment and highlighted the importance of materials for the routine of care.
Among the received equipment are portable diagnostic ultrasound for telehealth, electrocardiograph for telehealth, dynamometer, portable digital scale, electric scalpel, vascular Doppler, camera for the preservation of immunobiologicals, otoscope for telehealth, wheelchair for obese, automatic defibrillator, laser for physiotherapy, ultrasound for physiotherapy and dermatology.
The new equipment extends the resources available at UBS São José and contributes to different procedures and assessments carried out by the team. In addition, the materials help to offer better working conditions to professionals and strengthen the structure of the unit.
The UBS doctor São José highlighted that the equipment comes to add to the work already carried out by the team. The nurse of the unit also celebrated the arrival of the equipment and stressed that the structure will be important for the day to day of professionals.
The municipal secretary of Health, Sérgio Aldo da Silva, accompanied the delivery and reinforced the importance of keeping the units equipped. “They are equipment that will give more support to professionals and improve working conditions, in addition to keeping the units with up-to-date materials and quality to serve the population,” he said.
The mayor Rildo Leonardi also accompanied the delivery of the equipment at UBS São José and stresses that the investment in health is constant and cannot stop. UBS São José joins Caetano Mendes's UBS, which also received the same equipment through the federal program.
