UEPG to hold new teacher recruitment exam in the second semester
According to UEPG, the teacher recruitment process is already underway in the Superior Councils, in accordance with the guidelines of the LGU.

The State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) is expected to hold a new public tender for the hiring of effective teachers in the second half of 2025. The information was confirmed by the Communications Department of the entity exclusively to the report of the BnT Portal.
According to the UEPG, the process of teaching competition is being processed in the Superior Councils, in accordance with the General Law of Universities (LGU). The law, sanctioned in 2021, establishes parameters for vacancies in the state public higher education institutions of the Paraná. The date and number of vacancies have not yet been disclosed.
The announcement comes at a time of reduction in the number of effective teachers. According to data from the UEPG Teachers’ Union Section (SindUEPG), the university has 618 effective teachers in 2025, compared to 669 registered in 2022.
Three trucks, car and van caged and BR-376 banned
The last public tender held by UEPG for the hiring of effective teachers was almost ten years ago, in 2016. At the time, the University released two notices: one with 31 vacancies for the sectors of Exact and Natural Sciences; Agricultural Sciences and Technology; Applied Social Sciences; Humanities, Letters and Arts; and Legal Sciences; and another with 39 vacancies intended for the departments of the Biological Sciences and Health Sector.
The university is expected to release new information about the contest in the coming months, after approval of internal procedures.
