Uruguayan Woman Arrested After Beating Child Welfare Counselors in Castro
Case occurred during a judicial order for institutional care of five minors in vulnerable situations
The Municipal Guard of Castro during the afternoon of last Saturday (19), provided support to the Guardianship Council and the Justice Officer to comply with a judicial order of institutional reception of five minors who were in a situation of vulnerability.
During the action, a woman of Uruguayan nationality assaulted guardianship counselors, one of whom is elderly, in addition to threatening the team and resisting compliance with the court order.
The woman was contained and referred to the 43rd Police Station of Castro, along with the victims, for appropriate measures.
The five children were safely received by the designated team and are under the protection of justice.
