The Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) entered the last week of enrollment for the 2027 Vestibular. Those interested in competing for a spot at the Ponta Grossa Campus have until next Tuesday, October 13, at 23:59, to register.
In Ponta Grossa, 377 positions are offered distributed among ten undergraduate courses. Throughout UTFPR, the selection process offers 4,182 places on the 13 campuses of the institution.
The opportunities in the municipality are for the courses of Computer Science, Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology, Production Engineering, Engenharia Elétrica, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Systems Analysis and Development and Industrial Automation.
The registration fee is R$ 150 and can be paid until October 14. The entire procedure must be carried out through the official portal of the UTFPR Vestibular.
Candidates can choose up to two courses
During the application period, the applicant may indicate up to two different courses. The first option is mandatory, while the second option is optional.
It will also be necessary to choose the foreign language that will be charged in the test, with options between English and Spanish.

Testing takes place in November
The Vestibular UTFPR 2027 test is scheduled for November 22 and will be applied in cities where the University has campuses, including Ponta Grossa, Curitiba, Londrina, Pato Branco, Guarapuava, Apucarana and Campo Mourão.
On the day of the evaluation, the gates will be opened at 12:30 and closed at 13:30. The salad proof, with the indication of the place where each candidate will take the test, will be released on November 16.
The evaluation will consist of 40 objective questions and one essay. In the discursive part, the candidate should produce a dissertation-argumentative text with an extension between 15 and 20 lines.
Training goes beyond disciplines
In addition to the regular activities of the courses, UTFPR academics can participate in research and extension projects, competition teams, innovation actions, practical activities and international mobility programs.
According to the director of Graduation and Professional Education of the Ponta Grossa Campus, professor Murilo Oliveira Leme, the University’s proposal is to bring students closer to situations that are part of the labor market and the reality of the community.
“We prepare to take the training beyond the classroom, encouraging and supporting projects that involve the external community and companies, with updated disciplines that seek the solution of real problems,” he says.
Graduation from UTFPR is 100% free. Students may also have access to assistance programs, career opportunities, extension projects, innovation and exchange.
