The elected state deputy Ricardo Zampieri celebrated on Sunday (4) the result of the 2026 elections and the vote obtained in Ponta Grossa. In an interview with the BnT Portal team, in front of the campaign committee, Zampieri thanked the voters and said that the result exceeded the projections made during the electoral contest.

Commenting on the numbers, Zampieri said the campaign worked with the expectation that it would take about 30,000 votes to win a seat in the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (Aleppo).

“We imagined a projection in which we needed 30,000 votes to be elected. I thought it was practically impossible, but God is good all the time,” he said.

Zampieri highlights voting on Ponta Grossa

During the interview with the BnT, Zampieri highlighted mainly the electoral performance obtained in Ponta Grossa. According to the elected state deputy, there were more than 30,000 votes in the municipality, in addition to more than 17,000 votes won outside the region.

“He put people in our way, put puntagrosses who believed in our campaign. And it was Ponta Grossa, it was more than 30,000 votes, more than 17,000 votes outside our region,” he said.

Zampieri also associated the result to the political profile of part of the electorate of Pontagrosse.

“It shows that our conservative city is right-wing and really is a people who know what they want,” he said.

“They’ll have to swallow me.”

In one of the strongest moments of the interview, Ricardo Zampieri said he faced political difficulties during the campaign and criticized the structures of the state and municipal governments.

According to him, his election took place “against the whole machine of the State” and “against the whole machine of the municipality”. Zampieri also claimed to have faced boycott attempts during the election process.

“They tried to boycott us, they didn’t want to let any candidate come out, so you have an idea. The mayor tried to block our candidacy,” Zampieri said. The statements represent the version presented by the elected state deputy during the interview.

Zampieri then closed the speech in a tone of celebration.

“But God is good all the time. Like she says, right? And they're really gonna have to swallow me now. Go upstairs, too, together!” he declared.
