Vehicle is recovered, man is arrested for domestic violence and teenager is detained in PG

The Military Police registered 40 calls between 6am on Monday (2) and 5am on Tuesday (3), in Ponta Grossa. Among the occurrences disclosed by the corporation are the recovery of a stolen vehicle, the arrest of a man suspected of assaulting his companion and the seizure of a teenager during an attempted robbery at a jewellery store located in a shopping mall in the central region.

The stolen vehicle was recovered a few hours after the crime.

On Monday morning, the Military Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the central region of Ponta Grossa.

According to the information of the corporation, the owner had parked the car and, on returning, around 6 am, he realized that the car had been taken.

During an ostensible patrol of the region, around 8am, a police team located the abandoned vehicle on public roads.

The car was seized and referred to the police station for the necessary procedures and subsequent restitution to the owner.

Man arrested after assaulting companion in Chapada neighborhood

On Monday afternoon, a 27-year-old man was arrested in flagrante after physically assaulting his partner, 23, in the Chapada neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa.

The military police were called in to respond to an occurrence of domestic violence. At the address indicated, the police spoke with the victim and found that she had signs of violence and bruises on the body, resulting from the reported assaults.

Faced with the situation, the police team adopted the necessary procedures, ensured the safety of the woman and contained the suspect.

The couple was referred to the police station for the appropriate legal measures.

The Military Police reinforces that cases of domestic violence can be reported by phone 190, in emergency situations, or by 180, Central of Attention to Women.

Teen seized after attempted robbery at shopping jewellery store

On Tuesday morning, the military police seized a 17-year-old boy suspected of trying to steal a jewellery store located inside a shopping mall in the central region of Ponta Grossa.

The team was fired after reports that the suspect was on the liner of the commercial establishment.

After diligences on the spot, the police were able to locate and approach the teenager. During consultation with the public safety systems, a similar record of occurrence involving the young man was found in the city of Sinop, in Mato Grosso. At the time, according to the PM, he was contained with several jewels in his possession.

The Guardianship Council was activated and the adolescent referred to the 4th Regional Flagrants Center for the procedures provided for by law.

The events are part of the balance sheet released by the Military Police of Paraná, referring to the period between Monday (2) and the early morning of Tuesday (3).
