Video reveals 'game' that ended in student's death at Castro school
Luigi Gabriel, 12, suffered a fall inside a state college; police are investigating the circumstances and the care provided to the student
A video shows the kind of joke associated with the fall of 12-year-old Luigi Gabriel da Cruz Sales at the Professor Basílio Chrum State College in Castro, in the Campos Gerais. The student was injured on September 25 and died on Saturday (3), at Hospital Universitário da UEPG, at Ponta Grossa, according to information from BnT Online.

The assembly brings together scenes of people performing lifting and boosting movements with the help of other people, in domestic environments. The images illustrate the dynamics of the play and do not show the accident with Luigi inside the school.
Joke ended in fall at school
According to the BnT, seven students were in the group, including Luigi. In the boy’s place, four colleagues participated in the action and two others observed. He fell headlong to the ground and suffered serious injuries. The burial took place on Monday (5).
The police initially treated the incident as an accident. The investigation still needs to clarify the conduct of those involved and whether there was any infraction. There is no conclusion about responsibility for death.
The police attend to the student
The care is also under investigation. The crash occurred at around 13:40, but Luigi was referred to the Pronto Atendimento Unit at 16:25, an interval of approximately two hours and 45 minutes. Samu has opened an administrative procedure to analyze the call.

To the BnT, the delegate Marcondes Ribeiro reported that medical records, necropsy examination and records of the Samu were requested. Family members, school staff and police will be heard. The documents should help clarify the cause of death and possible failures in the rescue.
School community received welcome
On Monday (5), the regular activities of the school were suspended, with the offer of reception and psychosocial support. The Secretary of State for Education regretted the death and reported that it is accompanying the case.
