Those who need to use public services during the holidays should be aware of different times. Administrative units will have no work hours, but services considered essential continue to work.

Health

The Ponta Grossa Health Units will be closed during the holiday of September 7.

Emergency and emergency services normally continue in the Pronto Atendimento Units (UPAs) and the CAC, which operate 24 hours.

Public transport

The Ponta Grossa public transport will operate on Sunday, 7th of July.

Therefore, passengers should observe the special table before leaving the house, since the amount and the intervals between the buses may be different from the working days.

Waste collection and recycling PG

Garbage collection will work normally during the holidays.

The PG Recycle program will also have normal care.

The Feira Verde will not be available to the public at the exchange points on Monday.

Popular Restaurant

The Popular Restaurant will be closed on Monday (7).

The service will resume normally on Tuesday (8).

Social assistance

The Ponta Grossa Social Welfare Foundation (FASPG) will have no administrative work during the holiday.

In spite of this, essential services will be maintained normally, including social approach, receptions, special transport and funeral assistance.

Guardianship Council

The administrative offices of the Guardian Councils will be closed on Monday.

The emergency service, however, will be maintained by means of a 24-hour shift.

The charge returns to normal operation after the holiday.

Education

There will be no classes in the units of the municipal education network on Monday (7), due to the national holiday of Brazil’s Independence.

Service Square: closed.

Procon: closed.

With the changes, residents must schedule in advance services that depend on the municipal departments. Essential services remain available, while most administrative care returns after the holiday.
