Woman detained after man hit by stone in PG Center
Aggression in Ponta Grossa Center left a man injured after being hit on the head with a stone. Woman was taken to the police station.
An assault at the Ponta Grossa Center left one man injured on Friday afternoon, near the Baron Square of Rio Branco. According to information from the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM), the victim was hit in the head with a stone and needed to receive medical attention.
The incident was recorded at around 17:15, in Saldanha Marinho Street, in the Blue Point region. A GAT Kilo team was patrolling the central area when it was approached by a resident, who reported a person falling down nearby.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man lying on the ground and bleeding in the area of his head. The guards provided the first services and triggered the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu).
According to the victim's report to GCM, a woman had hit his head with a stone. The man also claimed that two other individuals had participated in the confusion, with pushes and kicks, but without causing further injuries.
Woman is located two blocks later
The characteristics of the suspect were passed on to the other teams that patrolled the region. About two blocks from the scene, a Getam team found a woman with similar characteristics to those reported.
According to the GCM bulletin, the woman told agents that the man had asked about an address, but that she would not have liked the way he addressed her. According to the record, she claimed that when the man turned his back, she picked up a stone and hit him on the head.
A municipal guard carried out a personal search of the woman and no illicit objects were found.
The victim had to get points.
The Bravo 02 team of the Samu provided care to the man and referred him to UPA Santana. According to the GCM, two points were needed in the head region.
During searches in the area, the agents found a stone pointed as the object used in the assault. The material was later sent to the police station.
The registry of the Municipal Guard also informs that, approximately 45 minutes before the occurrence, the woman would have already been involved in another confusion in the central region.
As the victim expressed an interest in representing against the suspect, the woman was referred to the 13th Police Subdivision of Ponta Grossa for appropriate measures.
After receiving medical attention, the man also went to the police station to testify. The other two involved mentioned by the victim had not been located at the time of registration.
The case was initially registered as bodily injury and should continue for analysis by the competent authorities.
