Woman Found Dead in Apartment in Center of Ponta Grossa

A woman was found dead on Monday morning inside an apartment on Rua 12 de Outubro in the central region of Ponta Grossa. The Civil Police investigate the circumstances of the death and should investigate information involving the victim's boyfriend, who, according to witnesses, left the condominium carrying a suitcase.

The identity of the woman still depends on official confirmation. Military Police, Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) and Scientific Police teams were at the address to attend the occurrence. The death was found on the spot.

Boyfriend is mentioned by witnesses

According to preliminary information obtained from people who were in the vicinity of the condominium, the woman lived with her boyfriend. Residents reported that the man was seen leaving the building with a suitcase and that he was not subsequently located to provide clarification.

Although the companion is mentioned in the reports and there are suspicions raised by witnesses, there is no official confirmation that he is being investigated as the author of any crime. Neither has there been a warrant for his arrest.

According to reports from residents, the woman reportedly presented health problems on Sunday (1st), related to a change in blood glucose, and sought care in a health unit.

After returning to the condominium, she would not have been seen again. The move aroused concern among people close to him, who tried to obtain information about his whereabouts.

Witnesses also mentioned the existence of images of the building's monitoring system, which could help clarify the movement on the site. There is no confirmation that these recordings have been analyzed by the authorities.

Body was found after opening the apartment

According to preliminary information, concern about the absence of contact led residents to seek help to access the property.

A keychain would have been triggered to open the apartment door. After the entry, the woman was found with no vital signs.

Emergency teams were called in and Samu found the death. The body was referred to the Medical-Legal Institute (IML) of Ponta Grossa for the necessary procedures.
