Young Man Dies in Collision on Pedro Wosgrau Avenue in Ponta Grossa
Collision in Ponta Grossa leaves 18-year-old dead and two people injured on Pedro Wosgrau Avenue. Driver allegedly fled.
A hit-and-run on Ponta Grossa ended with the death of an approximately 18-year-old and left two other people with minor injuries in the early hours of Sunday. The incident was recorded around 5:15 am, at Avenida Pedro Wosgrau, in the vicinity of the former company Wosgrau, in the region of Cará-Cará.
According to the first information obtained by the report of the BnT Online, three people were struck by a vehicle, which would be a truck. One of the victims suffered fatal injuries and had the death at the scene. The other two had minor injuries, according to preliminary information.
The driver had left the scene after the crash.
Reports passed on to the report point out that the driver of the truck would have stopped after the hitch, descended from the vehicle to observe what happened and then left the site.
There is also preliminary information that the driver could show signs of drunkenness. However, this suspicion has not yet been officially confirmed by the authorities and depends on an investigation.

Body was forwarded to IML of Ponta Grossa
After the procedures performed on site, the body of the fatal victim was collected and referred to the Medical-Legal Institute (IML) of Ponta Grossa.
