Young man shot dead with gunshots at his home door in Telêmaco Borba
Young man was hit by four shots on Rua Gameleira; mother was inside the house at the time of the crime.
A 20-year-old man was shot dead in the early hours of Wednesday (28) in Gameleira Street, Area 6, Telêmaco Borba.
According to the Military Police, the team was triggered after reports of gunfire. At the scene, the boy was found on his stomach, in front of the door of a residence, already without life.
According to preliminary surveys, the victim was hit by four shots - one in the left arm, two in the chest and one in the head. A rescue team was called, but only found the death.
The victim’s mother was inside the house at the time of the attack and reported hearing only the gunshots.
Suspects
The military police reported that preliminary information on the suspects was divergent: one version pointed to a motorcycle having left the scene after the shootings, while another report indicated that three individuals had fled on foot. Security cameras were not located in the immediate vicinity.
Expertise and research
The site was isolated and the Scientific Police carried out the forensics, collecting four cases of .380-caliber ammunition and a fragment of projectile found near the body. After the forensic work, the body was sent to the Scientific Police unit for necropsy examinations.
The case has been handed over to the Civil Police, who will be responsible for the investigation. As of now, there is no information on the authorship and motivation of the murder.
