Adolescents flee from police and are arrested with gun and irregular motorcycle in Palmeira

Adolescents are seized in Palmeira and referred to the police station after an action of the Military Police held on the morning of Sunday (20), in the Center of the municipality. The incident ended with the seizure of a loaded calibre 38 revolver, ammunition and a motorcycle with administrative pending.

According to information from the Military Police, the team was conducting routine patrols when they visualized two young people in suspicious attitude. One of them was pushing a motorcycle, while the other was walking next to the vehicle.

When they noticed the approach of the police car, the two teenagers abandoned the motorcycle and fled towards a forest area nearby. The police carried out the consultation of the vehicle and found that the motorcycle had administrative irregularities.

During the search for the region, one of the involved, a 17-year-old teenager, was located by the police. In the approach, the team found with him a 38 caliber revolver, as well as intact and deflated ammunition.

The incident continued when police received information that the second suspect had returned to the vicinity of the point where the motorcycle had been abandoned. The 16-year-old was located and seized by the team.

After the approach of the two involved, the adolescents were sent to the Palmeira police station, along with the weapons, the ammunition found and the motorcycle seized for legal procedures.

The case will be monitored by the responsible authorities, who must assess the circumstances of the occurrence and the appropriate measures involving adolescents.
