Adolescents stopped on electric motorcycle without mirrors and helmet in PG
Inspection in Ponta Grossa stopped two adolescents on a self-propelled vehicle without mirrors and with occupants without helmet
Two teenagers were approached by traffic officers during a self-propelled vehicles inspection on the afternoon of Friday (9), in Ponta Grossa. The incident was recorded at around 12:10 p.m. on the Sebastião Bastos Municipal Road, near the Costa Rican Supermarket.
According to the report of the patrulhamento viário team, the agents carried out surveillance actions when they visualized an electric motorcycle circulating without the mandatory rear-view mirrors. The 17-year-old driver was carrying a 16-year-old passenger, and both were without a helmet.
Officers gave orders to approach, which was immediately answered. During the inspection, the adolescents received guidance on the municipal legislation and the rules for the circulation of this type of vehicle.
Irregularities were resolved on the spot.
According to the record of the occurrence, the passenger lived near the place of the approach and reported that the mandatory equipment had already been purchased. The items were searched and the irregularities, including the absence of helmet and rear-view mirrors, were corrected still on site.
The vehicle was held until the situation was regularized.
Because they were minors, the persons responsible for the two adolescents appeared at the scene and also received guidance from traffic agents.
The Traffic Superintendence reported that the Patrulhamento Viário Group has been intensifying the self-propelled vehicle inspection actions in Ponta Grossa, with the aim of increasing road safety and ensuring compliance with traffic rules.
