After Invasion Allegations, Area in Jardim das Flores Registers Machines and Contractor
Area in Jardim das Flores Causes Concern Again After Presence of Machines and Vehicles. Municipality, Environmental Police and Company Were Summoned

An area in Jardim das Flores, on Ponta Grossa, has again been a concern of residents after new movements registered in recent days. The land, located in the Neves neighborhood region, had already been cited in complaints involving deforestation, possible irregular occupation, removal of vegetation and environmental impacts.
On Friday (9), residents recorded the presence of machines working on the ground, including a backhoe. On Tuesday (13), vehicles connected to a construction company were also seen in the region, amidst the movement of materials and equipment.
The name of the company will not be disclosed at this time, since the Portal BnT Online still seeks to clarify what is the relationship of the builder with the area and what service would have been performed on site.
The company was sought by the report and questioned about the presence of vehicles, employees and possible transport of machines or materials to the ground. Until the publication of this article, there was no demonstration.
The area has been the target of previous complaints.
The BnT Online has been tracking reports of residents involving the land on the Jardim das Flores for some time.
In a previous report, residents denounced the removal of vegetation and said that wild animals would have started to leave the area after the interventions. Suspicions have also been raised about the advance of irregular occupations on the ground.
Another complaint reported that the green area would continue to be threatened by deforestation and occupation without authorization, according to residents of the region.
The information is treated as complaints and continues depending on confirmation by the responsible bodies.
The City has not yet clarified the presence of the machines.
After the machines were seen on the ground on Friday (9), the Portal BnT Online forwarded a series of questions to the Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa.
Among the clarifications requested are the identification of the backhoe, the existence of a possible public service on the ground, environmental authorizations, urban situation of the area and possible inspections related to previous complaints.
Until the publication of this report, the City Hall had not yet submitted a conclusive position on the presence of the machines.
The report also seeks to know if there is any project of subdivision, enterprise, public work or authorization to intervene on the site.
Environmental police have been activated
According to information passed on to the report, the Environmental Police was activated on Monday (12) to verify the situation involving the land.
The Municipal Secretariat of Meio Ambiente de Ponta Grossa was also informed about the complaints and the movement observed in the area.
The Portal BnT Online questioned whether there was inspection, identification of irregular cutting of trees, intervention in an environmentally protected area or some type of irregular occupation.
Information was also requested about possible impacts on the fauna and on a current existing in the region, which has already been cited in reports of residents involving bad smell, possible contamination and environmental degradation.
Movement increases concern among residents
The presence of machines on Friday and vehicles connected to a construction company on Tuesday increased the concern of residents who follow the situation.
The reports point to a frequent movement of equipment and materials in or near the area.
To date, however, there is no official confirmation of who authorized the activities, who is responsible for the land or if there is a legally approved development for the site.
The BnT Online is still waiting for the demonstration of the Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa and the company sought by the report. If there is a return, the matter will be updated.
