Camera captures car being hit and dragged by train in Ponta Grossa
Driver suffered moderate injuries. The accident happened on Thursday night (15)
A security camera recorded the accident between a locomotive and a car on Thursday night, between Vila Margarida and Vila Liane, in Ponta Grossa, when a Ford Ka vehicle that followed along Luiz Oliveira e Silva Street, did not stop and was dragged by the train.
The 22-year-old driver was trapped inside the car after the collision. Firefighters and Samu teams worked to release the victim.
According to information from the BnT Portal, the car was hit and dragged for a considerable distance after the impact. Initial reports indicate that the Ka was carried by approximately one court, but the exact distance had not yet been officially confirmed.

The driver remained stuck in the hardware after the accident. Firefighters carried out the work of releasing the victim safely.
Samu was also mobilized to provide medical care still on site. The driver had moderate injuries and was referred to the Hospital Universitário (HU-UEPG).
In addition to the Fire Department and the Samu, teams of the Municipal Civil Guard also monitored the occurrence.
