Collision between BYD and Chevette leaves five injured in Ponta Grossa

An accident involving a BYD vehicle and a Chevrolet Chevette left five people injured in Ponta Grossa. The collision took place at the intersection of Northwest Avenue and Rua Gaivota, in the Borato region, and mobilized rescue and security teams.

According to preliminary information, the BYD was continuing along Rua Gaivota when it had advanced the preferential route, reaching the Chevette that passed through the intersection. The exact circumstances of the accident must still be determined by the authorities.

The driver of the Chevette suffered a fractured leg.

The driver of the Chevette, a man of approximately 35 years, suffered a closed fracture in one of the legs as a result of the impact.

He received the first care from the relief teams and was referred to a hospital unit for evaluation and medical treatment. So far, no updated information has been released about his health status.

Baby lap was among the occupants of BYD

In the BYD vehicle were four people, including a lap baby. All the occupants received assistance from the emergency teams who attended the site.

According to initial information, the four occupants were also referred to hospital care. No details were given about the severity of the injuries or the health facilities to which they were taken.

The incident mobilized teams from the Military Police, the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu), the Fire Department and traffic agents, who provided support during the care of the victims and the procedures at the crossing.
