Collision between two cars blocks section of BR-373 in Ponta Grossa
Collision between Cobalt and Cronos on BR-373 in Ponta Grossa blocks lane for over an hour. Accident did not leave any injured.
A collision between two vehicles on BR-373, on Ponta Grossa, caused the partial interdiction of the highway on the afternoon of Tuesday (27). The accident happened around 12:00, at kilometer 182, in the vicinity of the Honey Post.
According to the information passed on, a Chevrolet Cobalt, with plates from Loanda (PR), was trying to cross the runway to access the Posto do Mel when it ended up obstructing the passage of a Fiat Cronos, from Curitiba (PR), which was going in the Ponta Grossa direction.
The situation resulted in a cross-sectional collision between the two cars. Despite the impact, no one was injured.
The BR-373 was blocked for more than an hour.
Due to the accident, the right track of BR-373 had to be temporarily blocked for the removal of one of the vehicles involved.
The traffic was fully cleared at 13:35, after the removal of the Fiat Cronos. According to the information of the occurrence, there was no formation of lines during the interdiction period.
The circumstances of the collision should be determined by the competent authorities.
