Councilman Florenal falls ill in Ponta Grossa and receives SAMU care after showing worsening respiratory symptoms
The councilman Florenal was ill on Wednesday night (23), in Ponta Grossa, and needed to receive emergency care from the Mobile Emergency Service (SAMU). According to information raised by portal BnT Online, the parliamentarian presented worsening in a respiratory condition and was referred for medical attention.
According to the information provided by the care team, the councilor João Florenal da Silva, known as the Florenal Councilor, has a history of asthma and uses medication with salbutamol.
The patient reported that he had been experiencing mild shortness of breath for about a week, with worsening symptoms during this Wednesday. In the initial evaluation carried out by the emergency team, he presented respiratory effort and interspersed speech.
During care, signs compatible with respiratory alteration were identified, including reduction of vesicular murmur in pulmonary auscultation and presence of wheezing in the upper region of the lungs.
The medical team performed the administration of the indicated medications according to the conduct adopted for the case. After the procedure, the councilman showed good response to treatment, with improvement of the respiratory picture.
The councilor Florenal was referred by the SAMU for medical evaluation. Initially, it was taken to the UPA Uvaranas. However, due to the unavailability of beds in the unit, the patient was redirected to UPA Santa Paula, where he remained in observation.
According to the available information, the health picture is considered stable. The councilman continues to receive follow-up from the medical team while awaiting clinical evolution.
The care mobilized emergency teams, with SAMU in the referral of the patient. Initial information indicates that three ambulances were involved in the incident.
So far, no new information has been released about medical discharge or the release of the councilor.
