CRAS of Ponta Grossa take families to Carambeí Historic Park

Families served by CRAS Santa Luzia and Jardim Paraíso, in Ponta Grossa, participated in guided visits to the Historical Park of Carambeí during the month of September. The initiative provided participants with an experience of contact with the history, customs and cultural heritage of the Campos Gerais.

The tours are part of the socio-educational actions developed by the municipal social assistance network. The proposal was to offer families a cultural activity outside the routine of care, allowing them to know the history of the region in a light and interactive way.

Families learned the history of immigration in Carambeí

During the tour of the Carambeí Historical Park, the groups learned about aspects of the foundation of the municipality, the traditional customs of the region and the contribution of the Dutch immigrants who arrived at the Campos Gerais in the early 20th century.

The guided tours allowed the participants to know part of this trajectory and understand how immigration contributed to the historical and cultural formation of Carambeí.

In addition to the contact with the historical heritage, the activity sought to stimulate reflections on identity, memory and feeling of belonging to the region.

Visits integrate social assistance actions in Ponta Grossa

The activities were organized by the Reference Centers of Social Assistance Santa Luzia and Jardim Paraíso, which are part of the network of care for families in the municipality.

According to the president of the Social Assistance Foundation of Ponta Grossa (FASPG), Tatyana Belo, such initiatives expand the opportunities of access to culture and leisure for people served by social assistance services.

“Actions like this guarantee the right to culture and leisure, strengthen community bonds and broaden the universe of references of those who are served by our network,” he says.

The proposal also seeks to encourage coexistence among participants and strengthen community bonds through shared experiences.

Access to culture is part of socio-educational actions

The visits to the Historical Park of Carambeí are part of the set of socio-educational activities promoted by the municipality, aimed at guaranteeing rights and expanding the access of families to different spaces and cultural experiences.

By bringing groups to a place dedicated to the preservation of regional history, the initiative brings participants closer to cultural references of the Campos Gerais and offers new opportunities for learning and coexistence.

The action reinforces the role of the CRAS in the development of activities that go beyond the care carried out in their units, promoting the participation of families in cultural and community experiences.
