The dollar started the trading on Friday (9) priced at R$ 5.00. The main highlight of the day is the official inflation of Brazil. The HICP rose 0.82% in September, reversing the 0.32% deflation recorded in August.
In the previous session, the US currency closed up 0.27%, at R$ 5.0242. Ibovespa, which starts trading at 10 a.m., closed Thursday (8) up 0.94%, to 206,220 points, pulled by Petrobras shares, which advanced more than 3%.
Overseas, the market has monitored the sharp rise in oil after reports that the Trump administration is evaluating new attacks on Iran, as well as data from the US labor market and expectations for US interest rates. In the Brazilian scenario, attention remains focused on the electoral environment.
