Elected Governors from the South to Hold Pro-Flávio Bolsonaro Rally in Curitiba This Saturday
Programming Includes Concentration in Santa Cândida and Rally in Boca Maldita; Organization Announces Leaders from Different Parties
The elected governors of the three southern states will participate in an act of support for Flávio Bolsonaro in Curitiba on Saturday (17). The mobilization will bring together Sergio Moro, from Paraná, Jorginho Mello, from Santa Catarina, and Luciano Zucco, from Rio Grande do Sul, in a program with carriage and rally in the central region of the capital.
According to the organization, the participation of elected senators Filipe Barros (PL) and Deltan Dallagnol (New), as well as mayors, state and federal deputies and councilors, is also planned. The organisers present the initiative as a supra-partisan mobilisation in favour of Flavio's candidacy for the Presidency.
The concentration is scheduled for 14:30, near the Superintendence of the Federal Police, in the neighborhood Santa Cândida. The program announced includes a carriage to Boca Maldita, where the rally is announced for 4 pm.
According to the material sent to the press, the route includes passage through the region of Justiça Federal, in the Ahú neighborhood, before the arrival at the Center.
Moro announces a call on social networks
In a video recorded in front of the Federal Police, Moro invited residents of Curitiba, the Metropolitan Region and other Paraná cities to mobilize.
In the recording, the elected governor made references to the arrest of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva at the site and presented the act as a demonstration of opposition to the current president and the PT. He also displayed a t-shirt with a phrase alluding to the prison and the subsequent court decisions involving the petista.
The call uses the history of Lava Jato as an element of Moro’s political discourse. The declarations on honesty and integrity were presented by the elected governor as flags of mobilization.
Agenda includes Santa Catarina
The programming in Curitiba integrates an articulation of allies of Flávio Bolsonaro in the South region. On Saturday morning, an activity is planned in Florianópolis, organized by Jorginho Mello, with the announced participation of Moro and Zucco.
