Engavetamento leaves passenger injured on PG highway
Accident occurred in the section between Palmeira and Ponta Grossa and involved a van, a Fiorino, a Tucson and a Blazer

A clash on PR-151 in Ponta Grossa involving four vehicles left a 54-year-old woman injured on Tuesday morning. The accident occurred around 11:20, at km 337 of the highway, in the stretch between Palmeira and Ponta Grossa.
According to information from the State Road Police (PRE), all the vehicles involved were travelling in the direction Palmeira–Ponta Grossa when the sequence of collisions occurred.

The first vehicle was a Renault Master, with Concordia (SC) plates, driven by a 31-year-old man. According to the data collected on the spot, the driver reduced the speed sharply in the vicinity of km 337. The three vehicles that were behind ended up getting involved in the entanglement.
Four vehicles involved
The second vehicle was a Fiat Fiorino, with plates of Ponta Grossa, driven by a 32-year-old woman. She hasn't been hurt.
Just behind was a Hyundai Tucson, also of Ponta Grossa, driven by a 28-year-old woman, who was also not injured.
The fourth vehicle was a Ponta Grossa GM Blazer, driven by a 65-year-old man. The driver suffered no injuries, but a passenger, 54, had minor injuries and needed to be referred to medical attention.
According to the PRE, the drivers of the four vehicles remained at the scene and gave statements to the team responsible for attending the occurrence.
Vehicles have been released
The collisions caused damage to the four vehicles involved. After the procedures carried out by the State Road Police, the cars were released at the same place, since no administrative pending was found.
The circumstances of the accident were recorded by the staff of the 5th Company of the Road Police Battalion, through the Piraí do Sul Road Police Station.
