A Fiat Uno car with theft alert was located by the Military Police on Friday (30), in a green area in the neighborhood Jardim Carvalho, in Ponta Grossa, in the Campos Gerais do Paraná.
The recovery was carried out by a team of the Rural Patrol of the 1st Military Police Battalion (1st BPM). Police were on their way to a rural property when they spotted the vehicle parked in a clearing amidst the greenery.
The situation raised suspicions and prompted an investigation. After consulting the police system, the team confirmed that the Fiat Uno had a theft alert.
Before the finding, the police carried out the isolation of the area and activated the Scientific Police for the necessary procedures. Afterwards, the car was removed from the scene by a winch and taken to the police station.
The case reinforces the importance of the work of the Rural Patrol, which acts not only in the prevention of crimes, but also in the identification of suspicious situations and in the recovery of vehicles and other assets.
