The Friday at Six promises to move the Parque Ambiental de Ponta Grossa on Friday (30) with a special schedule for rock fans. Local bands Jamp and Decode will be the night’s highlights, with free shows starting at 6:30 p.m.
Promoted by Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, through the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, the project seeks to enhance the artists of the city and offer leisure and entertainment options to the population.
The opening will be Jamp's at 6:30 p.m., while Decode takes the stage at 7:45 p.m. Audiences will be able to follow performances that mix different musical styles, including pop rock, reggae, rap, emo, grunge and alternative rock.
Jamp takes nearly two decades of history to the stage
Beginning in 2007, Jamp are known for their mix of pop rock, reggae, and rap elements. Over the years, the group has performed in different cities of Paraná and Santa Catarina, as well as sharing the stage with great names of Brazilian music.
Among the artists and bands with whom Jamp has already shared events are CPM 22, Capital Inicial, O Rappa, NX Zero and Detonautas.
Currently, the band brings together Pedro Marcello (vocals), Luan Teixeira (guitars), Itto Eleutério (bass), André Silva (drums) and Luizinho (guitars and vocals).
In addition to the live performances, the group invests in authorial compositions and has already participated in radio programs and productions for the internet.
Decode promises to stir audiences with alternative rock
The second attraction of the night will be Decode, a band formed in 2023 that has been gaining space in the independent music scene of Ponta Grossa.
With Nicole on vocals, Kevin on guitar, Pepe on bass and Harry on drums, the group presents a repertoire that transitions between emo, grunge, pop rock and alternative rock.
Decode’s musical identity brings together influences from artists such as My Chemical Romance, Tokio Hotel, Audioslave and Pitty.
The presentation promises to combine authored songs with re-readings of national and international rock hits.
Friday at Six continues until December
The project follows with weekly presentations until December, always highlighting two names of the local music scene by edition.
The initiative aims to increase the visibility of musicians from the Pont-de-Grosse region and bring artists closer to the community, transforming the Parque Ambiental into a space of coexistence, culture and entertainment.
The organization warns that in case of rain or unfavorable weather conditions, the shows may be rescheduled to ensure the safety of the artists and the public.
