Starting on Friday (9), the event brings together 39 participants from 11 municipalities, with more than 50 options of dishes and drinks prepared especially for this year’s edition.
With the slogan “Flavours that tell our stories”, the Circuit continues until November 15 and seeks to enhance regional gastronomy through recipes that transition between classic and contemporary, using ingredients and references linked to the Campos Gerais.
Participate establishments of Carambeí, Castro, Imbaú, Jaguariaíva, Ortigueira, Palm, Ponta Grossa, Reserve, Sengés, Telêmaco Borba and Tibagi.
Public can evaluate the dishes
In addition to experiencing the options available, consumers also participate directly in the choice of highlights of the Gastronomic Circuit.
The evaluations are carried out by the official website of the event and take into account criteria such as presentation, creativity, taste and attendance.
Those who complete the evaluation also compete for consumer vouchers in the amounts of R$ 50, R$ 100 and R$ 150. Draws are held every Thursday.
Costela gets contemporary version in Ponta Grossa
In Ponta Grossa, Paco Pizza specially created for the Circuit the dish Costella Affumicata, a calzone that has as its main ingredient the uncooked rib.
The preparation is made with slow fermentation dough, tomato sauce, provolone, parmesan and basil. The proposal was to transform a traditional ingredient of Campos Gerais cuisine into a contemporary gastronomic experience.
According to the owner of the establishment, Thalyta Carneiro, the response of the public in the first days was positive.
“Our first weekend was very positive. We released our dish, specially designed and prepared for the Circuit, and we had a very spontaneous adherence of our customers, who knew the novelty through social networks and came to try it,” he reports.
The entrepreneur also claims that consumers spontaneously searched for the evaluation link to record their opinions on the dish.
“We are very excited. Our expectation is that, until the closure of the Circuit, we will be able to receive many new customers, win new admirers and provide special experiences through our gastronomy”, he emphasizes.
Telêmaco Borba bets on local flavors
In Telêmaco Borba, Ponto Quente Snacks participates in the programming with three options on the menu.
One of them is the Nhac Queijin, prepared with artisanal burger and half-cured cheese produced in the municipality itself. Another option is the Porco Caliente, which brings artisanal pork sausage.
The establishment also presents the traditional X-Salada, considered the flagship of the house for more than 30 years. The snack can be accompanied by Chopp Pilsen produced in Telêmaco Borba.
Manager Helena Franceschini says the movement in the early days has raised expectations for the rest of the Circuit.
“We had a very busy day on Monday. Some customers have already tried our dishes and registered their votes, which makes us very excited,” he says.
According to her, the participation also serves as a showcase for local products.
“We are confident in this edition and happy with the opportunity to present our products and value the local gastronomy”, he adds.
