GCM carries out operation in Guaragi and Colonia Sutil, in Ponta Grossa

Operation Guaragi and Colônia Sutil, carried out by the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) of Ponta Grossa on Friday night (6), resulted in the approach of 27 people, the supervision of three commercial establishments and the identification of one person with an open arrest warrant. The action aimed to strengthen preventive patrol and security in the localities.

The operation was attended by different teams of the Municipal Civil Guard, including the Tactical Support Group (GAT), the Environmental Patrol, the Maria da Penha Patrol and the GCM JULIET team.

During the activities, the agents intensified their presence in the regions of Guaragi and Colônia Sutil, with approaches and monitoring actions aimed at preventing occurrences and preserving public order.

Operation approached 27 people and monitored establishments

According to the report released by the Municipal Civil Guard, Operation Guaragi and Colônia Sutil presented the following results:

27 people approached;

Two motorcycles boarded;

Three supervised commercial establishments;

A person identified with an open arrest warrant.

The identification of a person with an open court warrant was one of the main results of the action. The report does not detail the nature of the warrant, nor does it clarify whether there was an arrest during the operation.

In addition to the approaches, the supervision of commercial establishments integrated the activities developed by municipal teams in the locations served.

GCM presence strengthens security in the localities

The main purpose of the operation was to increase the ostensible and preventive presence of the Municipal Civil Guard in the regions of Guaragi and Colônia Sutil, in Ponta Grossa.

According to the information released, the teams acted to strengthen the patrol, intensify the surveillance and contribute to the safety of residents.

The participation of different groups of the GCM allowed to gather teams with specific responsibilities in the same public security action.

Operation Guaragi and Colônia Sutil also sought to strengthen the presence of the Municipal Civil Guard in localities outside the central region of Ponta Grossa, expanding the preventive action in the communities served.

The initiative integrates the efforts of patrol and preservation of public order developed by the institution in the municipality.
