A video of a plane crashing on the Estados Unidos recorded the moment when a private jet violently hit the ground and exploded in a residential area of Florida on Sunday. The accident resulted in the deaths of the nine people on board. In addition to the stunning footage, an audio recording revealed the crew’s moments of despair before the tragedy.
The aircraft, a Learjet 60, had taken off from Austin, Texas, bound for North Eleuthera, Bahamas. The plane crashed in Palm Beach County, near a busy avenue.

Images taken by a camera installed in a vehicle show the instant the jet drops at high speed and hits the ground.
Soon after the impact, a huge fireball takes over the site. The violence of the collision caused a large crater and scattered debris throughout the region.
The tragedy occurred in the vicinity of a residential area, causing concern among residents. About 600 people had to leave their homes and were sent to shelters, according to authorities.

Audio reveals moments of despair before tragedy
A recording released by LiveATC, a platform that tracks communications between aircraft and air traffic controllers, revealed the last moments of the flight.
In conversation with the Miami control tower, the crew reported that they were facing ice formation and moderate turbulence while seeking more stable conditions to continue the journey.
Soon after, the situation quickly worsened.
The crew declared an emergency using the international expression "Mayday", used when an aircraft faces serious and immediate danger.
During the communication, the person in the cockpit reported that the plane was losing altitude at extremely high speed.
In one of the most dramatic moments of the recording, the crew warned that the aircraft would hit the ground.
“Let’s hit the ground,” said the voice recorded in the audio.
A few moments later, a final message indicated the seriousness of the situation: "We are running out of time".
Contact was cut off, and the aircraft crashed.
What caused the plane to crash?
The causes of the accident are still being investigated by U.S. authorities.
Preliminary information indicates that the aircraft faced adverse weather conditions, including turbulence and ice formation.
There were also records of storms in the area at the time of the accident. However, it is not yet possible to say whether the climatic conditions were decisive for the fall.
The Federal Aviation Administration of Estados Unidos (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Council (NTSB) are participating in the investigation.
The investigators’ work should analyze flight conditions, communication records, wreckage and other technical data to clarify what led to the loss of control of the aircraft.
Nine people died in the tragedy
Authorities confirmed the deaths of the nine occupants of the jet. The identities of the victims had not yet been disclosed in the information consulted on Monday (2).
The accident is among the most serious on record in the Estados Unidos in 2026.
