Inova Comércio 2026 takes place this Saturday (31) in Ponta Grossa, challenging students to create innovative solutions for the local commerce.

Inova Comércio 2026 takes place on Saturday (31), in Ponta Grossa, with the aim of stimulating creativity and developing solutions to problems faced by retail trade. The initiative will bring together Senac College Technology students, teachers, mentors, experts and entrepreneurs on a journey of innovation and entrepreneurship.
The meeting will be held from 8 am to 5 pm at Sebrae/PR headquarters in Ponta Grossa. The programming is promoted by Sebrae, in partnership with Fecomércio, Senac, Sesc and Sindilojas Ponta Grossa and region.
During the event, participants will be challenged to transform knowledge acquired in the classroom into practical proposals that can contribute to the modernization of local businesses.
Students will look for solutions to retail challenges
Inova Comércio works in the format of ideathon, a marathon of ideas in which teams work collaboratively to identify problems, develop proposals and present possible solutions.
Throughout Saturday, students will be guided by specialized mentors and go through different stages, including idea creation, validation of proposals and presentation of the projects developed.
The proposal is to approximate the academic environment to the needs of the business sector, allowing students to have contact with situations faced daily by merchants and entrepreneurs.
In addition to the search for innovative solutions, the activity aims to develop skills valued in the labor market, such as creativity, communication, ability to work in teams and problem solving.
Event strengthens the connection between education and trade in PG
The initiative has already been carried out in other municipalities of Paraná and seeks to encourage the application of technological knowledge in the reality of retail trade.
In Ponta Grossa, the 2025 edition brought together ten teams, demonstrating the participation of students in the construction of proposals focused on the sector.
By 2026, the expectation is to continue the rapprochement between educational institutions and entrepreneurs, stimulating new perspectives for the challenges faced by commercial establishments.
The participation of industry professionals will also allow students to know real market demands and develop proposals considering the needs of companies.
Innovation and entrepreneurship in the Campos Gerais
Inova Comércio 2026 also reinforces the importance of professional qualification and innovation for the economic development of Ponta Grossa and Campos Gerais.
By bringing together students and trade representatives in the same environment, the event creates opportunities for the exchange of experiences, the development of skills and the identification of new possibilities for the business of the region.
The programming will be concentrated in a single day, with practical activities and specialized follow-up of the participating teams.
