Jogos da Copa AMCG de Futebol take place this Sunday in the Campos Gerais

Regional football will have another weekend of disputes for the Campos Gerais. The participating teams enter the field for the Grand Prix AMCG of Swiss Football and for the 10th edition of the Copa AMCG of Football, competitions that bring together representatives of various municipalities and encourage the sporting integration between the cities of the region.

For the Grand Prix AMCG of Swiss Football, the second stage of the competition will be held this Saturday (19), in Telêmaco Borba, at the Wilson Adamoviski Field. The round will have three matches and will start at 14:00.

The first confrontation will be between Telêmaco Borba and Imbaú. Soon after, at 3 p.m., Ipiranga faces Ivaí. At 4 p.m., Piraí do Sul measures forces with São João of Triumph. The Ortigueira team does not enter the field at this stage and is off in the round.

After the first phase of the competition, held in the municipality of Ortigueira, Ivaí, Telêmaco Borba and São João of Triumph appear in the lead, all with three points won. At the end of the seven stages planned, the four best placed guarantee a place in the semi-finals.

Copa AMCG Football will have three games on Sunday

The 10th edition of the Copa AMCG of Football will also be held this weekend. Three matches are scheduled for Sunday (20), all at 3 pm, with matches valid for the North and South Keys of the competition.

For the North Key, Jaguariaíva receives Telêmaco Borba at the Matarazzo Sports Complex. Ipiranga faces São João of Triunfo at José Izaias Blum Stadium in Ipiranga, while Ivaí faces Palmeira at Valdomiro Jansen Stadium in Ivaí.

In Chave Norte, Tibagi leads the contest with six points, followed by Castro, who adds four. Jaguariaíva appears with three points, while Sengés and Telêmaco Borba complete the table with one and zero points, respectively.

Classification – North Key

1st – Tibagi: 6 points

2nd – Castro: 4 points

3rd – Jaguariaíva: 3 points

4th – Sengés: 1 point

5th – Telêmaco Borba: 0 points

For the South Key, Palmeira occupies the first place with six points won. São João of Triunfo and Ivaí appear just behind, both with three points. Ipiranga and Reserva are still looking for the first points in the competition.

The competitions are promoted by the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), through AMCG Esporte, with the aim of strengthening regional sport and expanding integration between participating municipalities.
