License of R$ 2.1 million for new Ponte Preta is approved
Project includes a concrete bridge over the Rio Pitangui, in the Alagados region, connecting Ponta Grossa and Carambeí
The construction of a new bridge over the Pitangui River, in the Ponte Preta region, on the link between Ponta Grossa and Carambeí, has advanced with the approval of the tender for Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa. Fator3 Construções Ltda. was the winner, with a proposal of R$ 2,104,663.19.
The result was published in the Official Journal of the Municipality on Wednesday (7). The work provides for a reinforced concrete structure with an area of 309.06 square meters, on the municipal road that connects the two municipalities through the region of Alagados.
What is foreseen in the work
In addition to the construction of the bridge, the object of the contract contemplates preliminary services, construction administration, land movement, foundations and execution of the structures. There are also paving services, footwear and external equipment. These interventions are part of the set of works described in the Electronic Competition No. 042/2026. The tender was held on August 28, and the approval act is dated September 29, with publication on Wednesday.
According to the document, the winning company was enabled to present the proposal considered most advantageous and that best meets the needs of the Municipality.
Connection between Ponta Grossa and Carambeí
The location indicated in the process is the crossing over the Pitangui River, on the municipal road connecting Ponta Grossa and Carambeí, in the region of the Alagados. The Official Journal identifies the intervention as the execution of a reinforced concrete bridge. The extract does not detail how the intervention will be done in the existing structure nor does it inform whether there will be blockage of the passage during the works.
It also does not provide guidance on deviations or other measures to maintain the circulation of vehicles while the work is underway.
Start and deadline have not yet been reported in the extract
The approval confirms the result of the tender and the choice of the company responsible for the execution of the object. The publication does not, however, inform the date of start of the work or the deadline for completion. The document also does not present the issuance of a service order. Thus, the advance confirmed at this stage is the approval of the bidding procedure, with a value of approximately R$ 2.1 million.
