Man dies after collision on PR-151 in Jaguariaíva

A hit on PR-151 in Jaguariaíva left a man dead on Saturday night in the Campos Gerais region. The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m., at km 218.5 of the highway, in the section near the junction with the PR-092.
According to information from the Piraí do Sul Road Police Station, the victim was an unidentified man, with an estimated age of approximately 50 years. He died at the scene of the hitch.
The driver realized that something had happened on the track.
According to the report recorded by the State Highway Police, a Volvo/FH truck, located in Poço Fundo, Minas Gerais, was traveling along the PR-151 when the driver noticed that it had passed over something on the track.
After realizing the situation, the driver stopped the vehicle on the sidewalk and found that a hitch had occurred.
The set involved in the occurrence was formed by the truck and two semi-trailers SR/Randon, also with shaft plates.
The 45-year-old driver was not injured and remained at the scene to provide clarification to authorities.
Breathalyzer test had negative result
According to the Road Police, the driver was properly qualified and was subjected to the test of the ethylometer.
The equipment showed a result of 0.00 mg/L, indicating absence of alcohol in the test performed after the accident.
The incident was reported to the teams responsible at 8:50 p.m. The Road Police arrived at the site around 21:30 to carry out the necessary care and procedures.
Victim has not yet been identified
The man had not been officially identified in the information initially released by the authorities.
The victim appeared to be approximately 50 years old and had the death found still at the site.
The hitch on PR-151 in Jaguariaíva occurred at km 218.5, on a stretch of highway that connects municipalities of Campos Gerais and Northern Pioneer of Paraná.
