Managers from the Campos Gerais discuss improvements in public management

Managers and public servants of municipalities of Campos Gerais participated, on Wednesday (4), in Ponta Grossa, another stage of the Regional Circuit of the Association of Municipalities of Paraná (AMP). The event, held in partnership with the Association of Municipalities of Campos Gerais (AMCG), brought together leaders and technical teams to discuss strategies for modernization and strengthening of the municipal public administration.
The program included lectures, debates and training activities aimed at improving public management. Among the topics addressed were the integration between the teams, the development of leadership, institutional communication and the search for innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the municipalities.
The Regional Circuit of the AMP travels through different regions of the Paraná, with the support of the 19 regional associations of municipalities. The initiative is structured in four axes: Collaborative Governance, Leadership that Transforms, Communication in Public Management and Public-Private Partnerships and Institutional Cooperation.
Training to meet municipal challenges
The mayor of Jaguariaíva and president of the SAMU Intermunicipal Consortium Campos Gerais (CimSamu), Juca Sloboda, stressed that professional qualification is fundamental to guarantee greater efficiency in the execution of projects and in the provision of services to the population.
"It is a very important initiative, which provides training, approach and exchange of knowledge between public servants of the municipalities. This is critical to overcoming the challenges and obstacles of public service. In order to develop and execute projects, we need to count on qualified, integrated and prepared teams to deal with the difficulties of the day-to-day municipal administration," he stressed.
The need for a permanent update was also highlighted by the consultant of the National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM), Juarez Henrichs.
According to him, investing in the training of servants is essential to ensure the continuity and quality of public services, especially since a large part of the technical teams remains in the administrations even after the changes of mandate.
Henrichs recalled that transformations such as the reforma tributária require constant preparation of the municipalities, in addition to greater planning capacity and adaptation to new administrative demands.
The consultant also recognized the support of the municipal and regional leaders for the realization of the meeting, The President of the AMP, Marcel Micheletto; the President of the AMCG, Gerson Nunes; the Mayor of Ponta Grossa, Elizabeth Schmidt; the prefeito Juca Sloboda; and deputy mayor of Ponta Grossa, Pastor Moisés Faria.
Governance, communication and innovation in debate
The consultant and speaker Ângelo Roncalli stressed that an efficient public administration depends not only on financial resources, but also on the ability to integrate between servers, managers and institutions.
"Today we address important guidelines, such as collaborative governance and the importance of integrating the entire team into strategic alignment, in addition to the role of leadership in the engagement of professionals. We also discussed communication in public management, not only to dialogue with the population, but to present the results of public policies in a clear and understandable way. Another theme was innovation, including the possibilities of public-private partnerships and institutional cooperation,” he explained.
During the activities, participants discussed the importance of establishing common objectives, improving internal processes and strengthening the transparency of actions developed by municipal administrations.
For Roncalli, teams prepared and committed to strategic planning contribute to a more efficient management and to the implementation of public policies capable of meeting the needs of the population.
The step carried out in Ponta Grossa reinforced the importance of cooperation between the municipalities of Campos Gerais, especially in the search for shared solutions to administrative challenges and in the qualification of the services offered to citizens.
