Mayor Florenal Updates Health Status After Leaving Restaurant via Ambulance
In an exclusive conversation, the mayor said he fainted after trying to use an empty asthma inhaler; he was discharged during the early morning and claims he is being medicated
The councilor João Florenal da Silva, known as Florenal, was discharged during the early hours of Thursday (24), after being treated by the Samu on Wednesday night (23), in Ponta Grossa. In exclusive conversation with the BnT Online, he reported that he passed out after trying to use an empty asthma bomb. According to the MP, he is being medicated.
“I ended up taking the empty asthma bomb, then I came out here and passed out. Fortunately, my employee was able to trigger an ambulance that was passing on the street and they met me in a matter of seconds; I was referred to the UPA and I was discharged even during the early morning. Now I am being medicated,” Florenal told BnT Online.
What Happened to Floral
According to the first report of the BnT Online, the councilman presented a worsening in the respiratory picture on Wednesday. During emergency care, he reported mild shortness of breath for about a week, with worsening symptoms that day.
The initial evaluation showed effort to breathe and speech was cut off. Florenal received medication from the care team and showed improvement. He was initially taken to UPA Uvaranas and, due to the unavailability of beds, referred to UPA Santa Paula, where he remained in observation.
In the previous publication, there was still no information about the medical discharge. The report made now by the councilman himself to BnT Online confirms that he left the unit during the early hours of the morning and is still on medication.
