Motorcyclist suffers fractures after collision with car in Ponta Grossa Center
Collision between car and motorcycle in Ponta Grossa leaves 29-year-old motorcyclist injured after accident in the Center; victim was attended by SIATE

A collision between a car and a motorcycle in Ponta Grossa left a 29-year-old motorcyclist injured on Saturday night, at the intersection of Rua do Rosário with Rua Tenente Pinto Duarte, in the central region of the municipality. The accident mobilized teams of the Fire Department and traffic agents.
According to information passed on by the service teams, the motorcyclist was following the Rua do Rosário when there was the collision with another vehicle that was traveling along Rua Tenente Pinto Duarte.
The car involved in the incident was a Ford Focus, occupied by four people. The driver, a 32-year-old man, was accompanied by a 32-year-old passenger, another 25-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman.
Despite the impact of the collision between car and motorcycle on Ponta Grossa, none of the occupants of the car suffered injuries. The motorcyclist had to receive medical attention due to the seriousness of the injuries.
The victim was treated by the SIATE team of the Fire Department and was suspected of a fracture of the femur, as well as possible fractures of the left arm and collarbone region.
After the first on-site visits, the motorcyclist was referred to UPA Santana, in Ponta Grossa, for evaluation and continuity of treatment.
Municipal traffic teams were also at the intersection to carry out the necessary procedures and organize the flow of vehicles during the attendance of the occurrence.
The Military Police were called due to the presence of a victim in the accident and must register the occurrence report.
