The Defesa Civil also reported that families with properties hit by flashes or hail may seek the organ or the Fire Department to request tarps, used as temporary cover to protect furniture and household utensils.

Care of roofs during the storm

The recommendation is that residents do not attempt to perform roof repairs while it is raining. In addition to the risk of falls, the presence of strong winds and slippery surfaces increases the risk of accidents.
