Parque Vila Velha in Ponta Grossa will have a night trail and star observation

The Parque Vila Velha in Ponta Grossa will have a special schedule on Saturday (26), with activities that allow you to explore the natural landscapes of the Campos Gerais during the day and at night. Among the attractions are the Fortress Trail, with approximately 11 kilometers of route, and the Night Walk, which includes observation of the sky with a telescope and guidance from an expert in Astronomy.

The two experiences provide different ways to get to know the Vila Velha State Park, passing through natural trails, rock formations and well-known tourist spots in the region.

In addition to the special activities, residents of Ponta Grossa can enjoy promotional tickets at R$ 49.90 until September 30, in celebration of the anniversary of the municipality.

The Fortress Trail will have a 11-kilometer route

The program begins at 9 am, with the Fortaleza Trail, a walk of approximately 11 kilometers and duration estimated between four and five hours.

The exit will be from the Visitor Center of the State Park of Vila Velha. During the tour, participants will pass the Marine Fossil Trail, the Sandstones, the Outcrops Trail and the Fortress Forest Trail, following to the Cascade of the Rio Quebra Perna.

The experience includes a snack kit and access to the three best-known attractions of the park: Sands, Furnas and Golden Lagoon.

The itinerary allows visitors to get to know different natural environments of the conservation unit, combining walking and contemplation of the landscapes of the Campos Gerais.

Night Walk will have observation of the sky with a telescope

In the late afternoon, the program continues with the Night Walk, which will have approximately four kilometers of route along the Unimed Sandstone Trail.

The reception of the participants begins at 17:30, and the tour will start after sunset, with closure scheduled for 22:30.

During the hike, visitors will pass through the Vila Velha Cup, one of the best-known rock formations in the park. At the end of the course, participants will be able to observe the sky with the help of a telescope and receive guidance from an astronomy expert.

If the conditions of the sky do not allow direct observation, the astronomical demonstration will be carried out by means of projection.

The proposal is to provide an experience that combines contact with nature and observation of the stars.

Activities depend on the weather conditions

Both experiences are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled if the weather does not allow for the tours.

In case of cancellation, participants may receive a refund of the amount paid for the activity.

For the Night Walk, the confirmation of the tour will be communicated by phone, using the number provided in the registration, until 14:00 on Saturday (26).

Residents of Ponta Grossa have promotional tickets until September 30

In addition to the special activities, the Vila Velha State Park maintains a promotion intended exclusively for residents of Ponta Grossa, in celebration of the anniversary of the city.

Until September 30, residents of the municipality can purchase tickets for R $ 49.90.

The special condition is valid only for purchases made by the official park website, upon proof of residence.

Another option available is the combo that brings together the Vila Velha State Park and the Buraco do Padre Nature Park. Tickets to visit the two attractions cost from R$ 97, allowing visitors to get to know different natural landscapes of the Campos Gerais.

The specific values to participate in the Fortress Trail and the Night Walk were not reported in the programming released by the park.
