Pé-de-Meia releases new installment of up to R$ 225; check the payment schedule

The payment of the sixth installment of the Socks began on Monday (21) for students of the ensino médio of the public network. At this stage, the beneficiaries of regular education receive R$ 200, while the students of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) can receive R$ 225, according to the criteria established by the program.

The deposits will be made in a staggered way until September 28, following the birth month of each student. To receive the attendance incentive, regular ensino médio students must have attended at least 80% of the classes held in July 2026.

In addition to the payment relating to school attendance, the Ministry of Education (MEC) also performs, in this period, the transfer of the approval portion of the second semester of the EJA cycle.

Students who have had enrollment or attendance information from previous months sent or corrected by the educational networks may also receive outstanding values.

The sixth installment deposit schedule is organized according to the beneficiaries’ birth month. Check out the dates:

September 21: students born in January and February;

September 22: born in March and April;

September 23: born in May and June;

September 24: born in July and August;

September 25: born in September and October;

September 28: born in November and December.

The amounts are deposited in the accounts linked to the program, respecting the conditions of participation of each student.

Who can receive the benefit?

The Half-Life is intended for students enrolled in the public ensino médio who meet the requirements of age, family income and school attendance.

To participate, it is necessary to be between 14 and 24 years old, in the case of the regular ensino médio, or between 19 and 24 years old, for those who are enrolled in Youth and Adult Education.

Another requirement is to belong to a family registered in the Single Register for Social Programs of the Federal Government (Cadúnico), with a monthly income of up to half a minimum wage per person.

In 2026, the program considers the family registries active in Cadúnico until the August 7th date. The registration information must be up to date, respecting the validity period of 24 months.

Students also need to have a regular physical person registration (CPF).

The inclusion in the Sock is automatic for those who meet the requirements established by the program, without the need for individual registration.

What happens when the student does not reach the minimum attendance?

Attendance in classes is one of the conditions for receiving the half-foot parcels.

When the student registers attendance below 80% in a given month, the corresponding payment is withheld. However, the benefit may be released later, if the student reaches the minimum percentage required.

In the regular ensino médio, the frequency incentive provides for up to nine annual payments of R$ 200.

Already in Youth and Adult Education, up to four installments are provided per semester, of R$ 225 each, and can reach eight payments throughout the year.

A half-breed can guarantee up to R$ 9,200 per student

Created by the Federal Government, the Foundation seeks to encourage young people to stay in public schools and contribute to the completion of the ensino médio.

According to the Ministry of Education, approximately 6 million Brazilian students have been reached by the program since its inception in 2024.

In addition to payments related to school attendance, beneficiaries of the regular ensino médio are entitled to an incentive of R$ 1,000 per academic year completed with approval.

This amount remains in a savings and can only be withdrawn after the student completes the ensino médio.

The program also provides for an additional payment of R$ 200 for participation in the National Examination of Ensino Médio (Enem), according to the established rules.

Adding the different incentives offered during the school trajectory, the benefit can reach R$ 9,200 per student.

Students can check the status of the benefit, consult school information, and check whether payments have been approved or rejected through the official program platform.
