The record was mentioned in messages obtained by the People's Gazette, in which an official of Vorcaro reports that the chef breached a determination by taking photos and exchanging contacts with the minister.
The event was mediated by former communications minister Fábio Faria, with a date chosen by Moraes himself. The conversations reveal details of the organization, including the presence of nine people and four security guards, and show Vorcaro’s concern to maintain naturalness during the reception.
Chef broke orders and exchanged contacts
In one of the excerpts, the contact “Michael” denounces to the banker that Zé Maria had breached a determination: “Zé Maria took a photo with the minister and changed phone and called on WhatsApp thanking. Only for your own knowledge.” The message indicates that the chef not only recorded the moment, but also established direct communication with Moraes after the meeting.
Michael also reports that Zé Maria called him a chant and explained that he could not say “no” to the minister. “Zé called me a song and said he couldn’t say no to the minister, and I explained that you didn’t like him,” Michael continues. In response, Vorcaro says that “it was the minister who asked for everything well”.
Former Minister Fábio Faria
The timeline of the messages shows that four telephone numbers named as being from Moraes reached Vorcaro through Fábio Faria. The next day comes the proposal for lunch. The minister warns that he will take his team: “There are 9 people and 4 security guards (see something for them). Give me the right address so I can send the escort.”
Fábio asks if “the house is at the same address” of the hotel and clarifies that the escort will go the day before. The exchange of messages suggests detailed planning, with attention to security logistics and guest comfort.
Guidelines for natural reception
At 13:34 on December 30, “Michael” warns that he is introducing the house to guests. Vorcaro asks the employee to send news and refines the strategy: “You don’t have to go everywhere inside the house to not get too forced. Let it be very natural.”
The guidance reveals the intention to create a relaxed environment, despite the presence of authorities. The lunch took place in a residence that, according to the messages, is at the same address as a hotel.
Millionaire contract after the meeting
In the month following lunch, already in 2024, advogada Viviane Barci sends the draft of a contract of R$ 129.6 million, divided into 36 installments of R$ 3.6 million. The metadata points out that the last modification was made by a user identified as “Minister Alexandre de Moraes”.
The contract was drafted by the Barci de Moraes office, which, according to Fábio Faria, was suggested by him to act in a case in the Justice of São Paulo. Faria stated that he did not meet with the bank and that he had no knowledge of the contract values.
Dinner with couples and approach
Another message mentions a later dinner: “Tell the boss there that the bald man confirmed the dinner with us on 02/02. The three couples.” Fábio Faria is married to Patricia Abravanel, daughter of host Silvio Santos. Vorcaro was approaching Martha Graeff at the time.
The term “careca” is an informal reference to Moraes, who is known to use the shaved head. The message suggests that the relationship between the parties extended beyond the December lunch.
Prison and revealing messages
Daniel Vorcaro was first arrested on 17 November 2025. At the time, the case was still conducted by the Justiça Federal of the Federal District. The seizure of his cellphone revealed that, days before, the former banker sent a message to the contact “Alexandre de Moraes Brasilia” expressing surprise and detailing the name of the judge who signed his first arrest warrant.
“That’s crazy, right the week I’m fixing everything. That same judge Ricardo? "Do you know the Galilee?" Can we do anything? Do you think Monday I have to be out already?”, wrote Vorcaro. He was arrested at Guarulhos International Airport while trying to board a plane to Dubai.
Demonstrations and open space
The Gazeta do Povo contacted the office of minister Alexandre de Moraes and tries to contact José Maria Meira. The space is still open for demonstration. At the moment, there is no official positioning of the cited parties on the content of the messages.
