The victim was lured by a false order.
Luiz Eduardo worked as a motoboy in Curitiba and, according to the investigation, received a false freight request in the amount of R$ 400. Arriving at the indicated road, in the Cará-Cará neighborhood, in Ponta Grossa, he was surprised and shot dead.
The police point out that the motivation is related to commercial disputes started in 2019, involving services provided in an automotive workshop. According to the investigations, the disagreements gave rise to years of conflict and persecution.
The first suspect was arrested in August
The first phase of the operation occurred on August 19, 2026, when the Civil Police arrested the person responsible for the mechanical workshop, also suspected of participation in the murder. According to the PCPR, he used data from a third party, without involvement in the crime and with whom he also had disagreements, to register the telephone line and the virtual accounts used in the ambush.
The police said that during the interrogation, the first suspect confessed to the criminal plan, but tried to make it difficult to identify the companion. The progress of the investigation led to the identification of the second suspect and the location of the vehicle used in the displacement to the ambush, resulting in the fulfillment of the new court orders.
