Ponta Grossa establishes one-way traffic on important street; find out which one
Decree determines circulation of Rio Grande do Norte Street towards Visconde de Sinimbu Street; publication does not inform the date of signage implementation

A section of Nassau’s Mauritius Street, at Ponta Grossa, will have a unique sense of circulation, according to Decree No. 27.023, published in the Official Journal of the Municipality on Thursday (29). The measure establishes traffic from Rua Rio Grande do Norte towards Rua Visconde de Sinimbu.
Signed by prefeita Elizabeth Schmidt, the decree is dated October 26 and determines its entry into force on the date of publication. The amendment specifically covers the stretch between the two crossings mentioned.
The document does not present a date for the deployment of the signage or an operational schedule for the change. It also does not detail the technical justification of the change or inform possible adjustments in the nearby streets.
Therefore, although the one-way street is established by the decree, the publication does not allow to confirm whether the change has already been implemented in practice.
For drivers who use the Mauritius Nassau, the guideline is to observe the existing signage on the site. The definition of the start of the operation and possible guidance actions for drivers depends on additional information from the municipal traffic authority.
The measure was formalized from a municipal administrative process. The text of the decree can be consulted on page 5 of the Official Gazette no 4.736.
