President and residents report threats from foreigner in building in Ponta Grossa
Residents of building in Uvaranas report intimidation, disturbances during the night and conflicts involving the temporary occupation of an apartment

A report of threats in the building of Ponta Grossa, located in the Uvaranas neighborhood, was registered with the Municipal Guard after the trustee and residents reported episodes of intimidation and disturbance attributed to a man who temporarily occupied an apartment in the building. The case was formalized in a report card on Thursday (22).
According to the document, the trustee of the São Pedro Building sought the Municipal Guard reporting that it had been receiving threats for four days. According to her, the person responsible was a foreign man who had rented one of the condominium apartments.
The trustee reported that the occupant does not speak Portuguese and uses translation applications to talk to the residents. According to the record, he would arrive at the building early in the morning, apparently intoxicated, and would have threatened other people who live on the site.
Resident reports persecution and disturbances during the morning
In a report sent to BnT Online, one resident said the problems began after the guest’s arrival, approximately a week before his statement.
According to her, the man initially presented himself as French and claimed to have rented an apartment through the Booking platform.
The resident explained that the internal regiment of the building prohibits the rental of apartments by applications, allowing only contracts made by real estate companies. Despite the restriction, the man presented a proof of payment and demonstrated that he had the password to access the property.
The situation worsened when the occupant began to complain about noises and search for neighbors during the night, knocking on doors and triggering intercoms.
One of the residents said that after helping him and sharing his internet password, she began to receive insistent messages. She reported that she blocked phone numbers, but the man would have continued to try to contact other numbers.
Man would have insisted to enter the apartment of resident
The resident also described an episode that occurred around 3 a.m. in the early hours of the morning, when her intercom had been repeatedly activated.
According to her, the man would have used a small piece of wood to keep the intercom button pressed.
On checking the situation, he found the occupant near the door of his apartment. The witness reported that he insisted on entering the property and talking, but had the request refused.
Even after the refusal, the man would have continued knocking on the door.
The resident said she called the Military Police on the 190 phone, but said no team appeared at that time. This information has not yet been confirmed by the corporation.
Residents report the operation of the Municipal Guard
According to the witness, given the continuity of the problems, the trustee hired a private security to follow the movement in the condominium.
She said the man would have again disturbed other residents, including with loud sound and intercom triggers during the early hours of the morning.
The resident also reported that the Municipal Guard was called later and that the occupant was reportedly referred to the police unit for registration of the occurrence.
According to the witness, during the visit, it was identified that the man was of Moroccan origin, unlike the French nationality he had initially informed. This information does not appear as a confirmed identification in the newsletter presented to the report.
The resident also said that the man returned to the condominium after the police service. The BnT Online did not have access to documents confirming any subsequent driving, release or measures taken by the authorities.
Leasing per application is also questionable
In addition to threats, the building administration questions how the apartment was made available for lodging.
According to the syndica, the convention of the condominium does not allow leases carried out by applications. The resident interviewed stated that the administration began to seek measures in relation to the owner of the unit.
She also mentioned the possibility of seeking the Federal Police because of the occupant’s foreign status.
However, any migration measure depends on the analysis of the competent authorities, and the police record presented does not confirm the existence of deportation or expulsion procedure.
The report also reports that messages allegedly sent by the occupant to the syndica by WhatsApp and Instagram were attached.
To date, the document consulted confirms the registration of the complaint, but does not present an investigation conclusion on the facts narrated.
The case draws attention to conflicts related to coexistence in residential condominiums and internal rules for temporary accommodation.
